The quick way: read it in your browser
- On your phone, choose the PDF on the converter above (from Files, Downloads, Google Drive or iCloud Drive).
- Wait while Epubfy reflows it — usually under a minute.
- Tap Read in browser.
The book opens in a clean reading view: text that fits the screen, a table of contents, adjustable text size, dark mode, and it remembers where you stopped. Nothing to install. The link works for 60 minutes, so download the EPUB if you want to keep the book.
To keep it: open the EPUB in an ebook app
- iPhone and iPad: tap Download EPUB, then Share → Books. Step-by-step guide.
- Android: open the EPUB with Google Play Books or any EPUB reader app.
- Kindle app: send the EPUB with Send to Kindle and it shows up in the Kindle app and on your Kindle. How to.
Why converting works better than zooming
Zooming a PDF makes the page bigger, not the text easier to read: each line becomes wider than the screen. Converting turns the fixed pages into flowing text. Epubfy also removes the page numbers and running headers that would otherwise appear mid-sentence, joins lines back into paragraphs, and keeps chapters, images and code blocks.
Some PDF apps have a reflow mode, such as Liquid Mode in Adobe Acrobat Reader. It can work well for some documents; converting to EPUB gives you a file that reads well in any ebook app, on any device.
When to keep the PDF
- Scanned documents (you can't select the text) can't be reflowed yet.
- Forms, slides, comics and magazines depend on their layout — on a phone, turning sideways to landscape usually helps more.
